Today is the birthday of Raymond Hood, born on March 29, 1881.
In the 1920s, Hood designed the lavishly Neo-Gothic Chicago Tribune Tower with John Howells. Ten years later, Raymond Hood was designing sleek Art Deco buildings like the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. But you might know him best for the building shown here—
